In the days preceding the Ministerial Conference, partners were invited to organize satellite events – elevating the impact, inclusivity and ambition of the Ministerial Conference. We particularly encouraged satellite events in order to facilitate more in-depth discussion on specific sub-topics and the bringing together of networks and partners.

This Global Ministerial Conference represents the first time that all governments of the world will convene to commit to prevent violence against children – accelerating action to deliver SDG 16.2
